NNA - Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Thursday said via Twitter: “The Lebanese Army is destined to always be at the forefront defending our homeland, its sovereignty, its people, and to pay a heavy price with the lives of its soldiers.”

Mikati’s tweet went on to pay tribute to the three Lebanese Army martyrs who fell today in the Bekaa Valley. 

“Praying that God heals the wounded soldiers, deepest condolences go out to the army and its leadership,” Mikati added.
