NNA – French Embassy in Beirut circulated today a tweet by the French Foreign Ministry, in which it indicated that "France is actively participating in the American mediation aimed at reaching an agreement on the maritime borders between Israel and Lebanon," stressing that "the agreement will benefit both countries and their peoples, which would contribute to the stability and prosperity of the region."

"We call on all actors to work on this," the French Ministry underlined.
