NNA - MP Ibrahim Kanaan said today via his Twitter account: “The Capital Control draft circulating via social networks has dropped down upon us, as usual, from outside the norms and is not relevant to our proposal...We reject it as we reject any formula that does not protect the rights of depositors and gives absolute powers to a committee that includes the government and the Central Bank of Lebanon instead of enshrining these rights in the body of the law."
