NNA – Former Deputy Prime Minister Ghassan Hasbani said via his twitter account today: "The deal to commission the management of the container terminal in the Port of Beirut is not new, but rather a renewal of the old deal in terms of its model. The port needs a comprehensive solution that includes investments, reconstruction and compensation for those affected in the port blast…The right to total management of the port is not a free privilege, but can generate more than 8 billion US dollars immediately for the state treasury."
