NNA - The southern Lebanese town of Aita al-Shaab on Friday came under intermittent Israeli artillery fire, while Israeli forces conducted a sweeping operation from their positions in the western Galilee. Heavy machine gunfire was directed towards the outskirts of Alma al-Shaab as part of the operation.

The situation was further escalated by intensive Israeli aerial reconnaissance, with drones and surveillance aircraft patrolling the skies of southern Lebanon. The flights were concentrated along the coastline, spanning from the Mansouri area to the shores of Tyre, both north and south.
