NNA - For the third consecutive day, Civil Defense teams, under the direct supervision of Director General Brigadier Raymond Khattar and the follow-up of Acting Interior Minister Judge Bassam Mawlawi, continue to battle wildfires in the forests of Rabweh, Beit Misk, and Nabeh. Supported by four helicopters from the Lebanese Army Air Force, efforts are focused on preventing the fire from reaching nearby residential areas.

Mobile command units have been deployed to coordinate operations, with efforts ramping up despite difficult conditions, including strong winds and the rugged terrain. 

Water tankers from neighboring municipalities have been brought in to supply firefighting vehicles. 

There are also ongoing attempts to bring in helicopters from Cyprus to help control the blaze as quickly as possible.
