NNA - In a tragic escalation of violence, rescue teams from the Islamic Health Authority faced significant casualties following an Israeli enemy attack on Monday morning  targeting their center in Sohmor, located in Western Bekaa.

This incident comes in the wake of a devastating day in Baalbek, where intense airstrikes resulted in the deaths of over 50 individuals and left dozens injured. 

Among the victims was the massacre in the Bsatine neighborhood of Baalbek, which claimed the lives of eight residents. 

As the violence continued, Israeli enemy aircraft resumed a series of aggressive airstrikes on the region starting at 12:30 am, targeting the vicinity of Baalbek and surrounding villages, including Nabi Sheet, Al-Hamoudieh, and Nabha. 

The presence of both enemy fighter and drone aircraft has remained a constant threat in the area.
