NNA - After ministers had promised that a second power station would be brought back on line Sunday, the national power grid completely failed again late on Saturday.

The Havana Electric company confirmed the power grid failure on their Telegram channel at 10:25pm Saturday, before removing the post without an explanation later.

Cuban PM Manuel Marrero blamed the initial crash earlier this week on fuel shortages, which Havana has blamed on US sanctions. --- RT
