NNA - British Foreign Secretary David Lammy called today for an "immediate ceasefire" after the "worrying escalation" between Israel and Hezbollah.

"Our message to all parties is clear: we need an immediate ceasefire on both sides so that we can reach a political settlement, so that Israeli and Lebanese civilians can return to their homes and live in peace and security," Lammy said in a speech at the Labour Party's annual conference, as reported by AFP.
