NNA - U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris to address key international issues. 

Blinken expressed gratitude for France’s leadership in supporting Ukraine's defense against Russia’s aggression. 

The two leaders also discussed the situation in the Middle East, focusing on efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages, and increasing humanitarian aid. 

Additionally, they talked about the need for de-escalation in Lebanon and the pursuit of a diplomatic solution to ensure the safe return of civilians in both Israel and Lebanon.
