Storm "Boris" left severe damage and unprecedented floods in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Austria and Romania, according to "Russia Today".

The Czech police announced today, Monday, that one person died and 7 went missing as a result of the floods.

Six people were killed in Romania, one person drowned in Poland and a firefighter was killed in Austria

In Romania, nearly 6,000 Romanian families were affected by the storm, and about 300 residents took refuge in their neighbors' homes or in tents set up by the authorities.

The situation is particularly critical in northeastern Czech Republic, where a large part of the population of the city of Opava has been evacuated due to the flooding of the Opava River.

In Austria, train traffic was halted in some parts of the country overnight Saturday to Sunday.
