NNA - The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Lebanon announced on Monday that a Russian EMERCOM Il-76 aircraft carrying humanitarian aid will arrive at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport on October 24 at 8:25 AM local time. 

The plane, loaded with medical supplies and emergency relief kits, will remain at the airport until 12:00 pm before departing.

The Russian government has requested urgent assistance from Lebanese authorities to facilitate the landing and unloading of the cargo, including customs exemptions and the organization of a protocol event. 

Lebanese and international media have been invited to cover the arrival of the humanitarian supplies.

Additionally, the plane will evacuate approximately 100 Russian citizens, including women and children.
