NNA - Caretaker Minister of Industry, MP George Boushkian, stressed that "the ability of the Lebanese to face and overcome challenges is an act of rooted faith and attachment to Lebanon, the homeland of civilization, culture, science and expansion."

He added: "Crises have passed while the Lebanese remained steadfast, resilient and victorious...We will continue to rejoice and sing national anthems and songs of joy, and we will bequeath to our children and grandchildren the lifestyle we took from our grandparents and fathers, the distinctive Lebanese style that we envy..."

Boushkian was speaking at an event by the Choir of the Armenian Orthodox Patriarchate led by Archimandrite Father Zaven Najarian and the participation of the Cilicia Musical Band, which included revival of "national songs" held at Anjar Castle under his patronage, and in presence of Caretaker Culture Minister, Mohammad Wissam Al-Murtada.

Al-Murtada, for his part, expressed joy at participating in the Anjari heritage night event, which "restored joy to the hearts despite what we suffer," stressing that "the people yearn for life, and will overcome crises."
