NNA - Caretaker Minister of Industry, George Boushkian, congratulated Lebanese Singer Wael Kfoury for launching an initiative that aims to provide free books to all school students in Zahle.

"It is a remarkable and distinctive step towards pupils of his hometown, where he grew up and went to school, for he is keen on raising the new generation enthusiastic about science and specialization," Boushkian said, valuing Kfoury's support to many who are going through economic hardships.
 
He added, "The capable sons of Zahle in Lebanon and immigrants must appreciate this initiative, support it, join it, enrich it and develop it by establishing intellectual and cultural clubs where reading and language-learning are encouraged."
 
Boushkian concluded: "Zahle of culture, poets, writers and artists...Thank you, Wael. We are by your side!"
