NNA - Caretaker Minister of Industry, MP George Boujikian, on Tuesday met Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardieri, to whom he confirmed the depth of historical relations between Lebanon and Italy.

“Italy is among the first countries with which Lebanon exchanged trade, industry, culture, and tourism,” Boujikian added. 

Moreover, the pair discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the best means to develop relations. 

“Lebanese industrialists are keen on improving the quality of their products and on adhering to specifications so that they can compete in European markets,” Boujikian said.
