NNA - Jordan's Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, represented by Jordanian Prime Minister Bashir Al-Khasawneh, inaugurated the Arab Entrepreneurship Summit organized by the Economic and Social Committee at the United Nations (ESCWA) in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Sunday.
Lebanon was represented at the Summit by Caretaker Industry Minister George Boushkian, alongside a Lebanese industrial delegation, with ESCWA President Rola Dashti, and various cabinet ministers, heads of delegations, and representatives of public and private sectors in a number of Arab countries also attending.
Boushkian held a series of meetings with Dashti and several ministers and heads of delegations, with talks touching on the Arab economic conditions, the need for solidarity and joint action for Arab unity and strengthening exchange in a common Arab market.
Lebanon's Industry Minister stressed that "unity leads to strength and growth, facing challenges and overcoming them," while thanking Jordan, its Monarch, government and people, for the generous hospitality and hoping for further development and prosperity for the Kingdom.
