NNA – Members of the “Depositors’ Outcry” association on Wednesday gathered in front of the Lebanese Central Bank to demand the cancellation of circulars issued by the bank that deduct more than 70% of the depositors’ savings.

The protesters demanded that the Central Bank “practice its role and compel banks to improve the ceiling of monthly payments to depositors."
