NNA - Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Ali Hamieh, on Friday said in a statement: "Rafic Hariri International Airport is Lebanon's gateway to the world; it has always been and will remain resistant to all attempts to undermine it both internally and externally.”

"Our bet on increasing movement at Beirut airport was in place; in just nine months, it has been able to record the equivalent of an entire year’s movement, and its revenues have recently amplified at an increasing pace,” Hamieh’s statement added.
