NNA - Caretaker Minister of Labor, Mustafa Bayram, on Friday issued a statement reiterating his position regarding the customs dollar rate. 

“We maintain our original reservation over this matter, especially with the newly mentioned customs dollar rate at LBP 20 thousand. Albeit, there’s some ambiguity surrounding the targeted or exempted goods, as well as an absence of the required mechanisms to control prices,” Bayram’s statement said.
