NNA - Caretaker Minister of Labor, Mustafa Bayram, on Friday confirmed in an interview with the "Voice of All Lebanon" radio station that the increases in salaries and transportation allowances that had been approved did not mitigate people's sufferings.

He noted that the crisis was about to witness a solution through an increases to the customs USD rate, “but no one dared to approve this bill prior to elections." 

"The sole solution at the absence of a budget approval lies in giving unconditional aid to public sector employees,” Bayram concluded.
