10:00  am     The Arab National Conference opens its (32nd) session in Beirut at the Crown Plaza Hotel in the presence of 180 political, cultural, and media personalities from 17 Arab countries. (lasts for two days).

10:00 am      The Lebanese Chess Federation, sponsored by the Municipality of Kafr Beit - Sidon District, the "Al-Shamiya Chess Academy" and the NSF Association, holds a free sports day that combines chess, hiking, cardio, and NS-style yoga, at the town's square.
