NNA – House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday received at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El Tineh, a delegation from the “Kulluna Li Beirut”" Gathering, headed by former Minister Mohammed Choucair.
Discussions reportedly touched on the country’s general situation, political developments and the displaced file.
Speaker Berri also received in Ain El-Tineh, the chairman of Middle East Airlines (MEA) Company, Mohammed Hout, with whom he discussed the company's situation and the circumstances in which it operates to ensure the continuity of communication between Lebanon and the outside world.
Berri later received former Minister Joseph Al-Hashem, with whom he broached the general situation as well as political and field developments.
On the other hand, Berri called for a Parliament session on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in accordance with Article 44, Paragraph 2 of the Constitution and Article 3 of the Parliament's internal regulations.
The session will focus on electing two secretaries and three commissioners. Additionally, pursuant to Article 19 of the internal regulations, members of the parliamentary committees will also be elected during this meeting.
