NNA – Lebanese Army Commander General Joseph Aoun, on Monday received at his Yarzeh office, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, in the presence of French Ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro.

Discussions touched on the general situation in the country in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

Minister Barrot hailed the performance of the army, stressing "his country's continued support for the military institution."
