NNA - Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Friday met at the Grand Serail with U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson, with whom he discussed the current situation in Lebanon and the scheduled UN Security Council session later this afternoon, which will address the recent bombings in Lebanon.

The Prime Minister also received Japan’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Masayuki Magoshi, and Hungary’s Ambassador, Ferenc Csillag.

Discussions reportedly focused on the recent Israeli bombings, with Mikati requesting support and technical assistance for the military-led investigation into the attacks.

Additionally, Mikati held talks with Environment Minister, Nasser Yassin, Coordinator of the National Disaster and Crisis Response Committee, with whom he reviewed the latest developments.
