NNA – Army Commander, Major General Joseph Aoun, on Monday received at his Yarze office, Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary.

The Army Commander also received in his office, the Lebanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fawzi Kabbara, with whom he discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region.

Major General Aoun later received in his office, the Saudi Military Attaché, Colonel Fawaz Al-Mutairi.

Discussions reportedly touched on ways to enhance cooperation between the armies of the two countries.

The army chief also welcomed in his office, Bahaa El-Dine Al-Hariri, who hailed “the army’s efforts to preserve Lebanon’s security and stability.”
