NNA - Irish Foreign Minister Michael Martin said on Monday that the use of starvation as a weapon in Israel's war on the Gaza Strip constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, according to the Palestinian "Wafa" news agency.

The Irish Minister of Foreign Affairs, in a post on his account on the “X” platform, considered that Israel’s prevention of aid from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) reaching northern Gaza is “a moral violation and completely unacceptable.”

He denounced the use of starvation as a weapon in the Gaza war, saying that it "constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law."
