NNA - In an issued statement today, Caretaker Minister of Industry, George Bushkian, well-wished the Christian sects that follow the Eastern calendar on the glorious Easter occasion, “which symbolizes the resurrection of the Lord Jesus from death,” hoping that it would be accompanied by “Lebanon’s resurrection from its crisis, and the Lebanese people's exit from the dark tunnel to...an oasis of peace and light, a vast place of tranquility, and a state of stability.”

Bushkian also hoped that "joy would spread in the hearts, that souls would know calm, and that the Lebanese would gather their will, steadfastness and unity to stand as an impenetrable barrier against those who covet Lebanon and its bounties."
