NNA - Following the legislative session on Thursday House Speaker, Nabih Beri, convened with the National Moderation Bloc at the parliamentary office to delve into overarching national dynamics and evolving political narratives, with a keen focus on the intricacies surrounding the presidential dossier.

Members of the bloc briefed Speaker Berri on the outcomes of their strategic dialogues with various parliamentary factions, a pivotal component of their proactive approach within the framework of their presidential initiative.

In a post-meeting statement, MP Ahmad Al-Kheir underscored that "the bloc has diligently briefed Speaker Berri on its discussions with other parliamentary blocs regarding the National Moderation Bloc's assertive initiative pertaining to the presidential dossier. This pivotal initiative is underpinned by a comprehensive 10-item agenda, with substantive progress made on eight of them. However, there remain two lingering issues that demand our collective attention, and both we and Speaker Berri are actively engaged in resolving them."
