NNA - House Speaker Nabih Berri discussed today the educational conditions and demands of teachers in secondary, basic and vocational public education institutions, during his meeting with an expanded delegation representing this sector who visited him at Ain El-Tineh this afternoon.

"Development & Liberaton" parliamentary bloc member, Ashraf Beydoun, and “Amal” movement educational branch head, Ali Maheik, also attended the meeting.

The delegation briefed Speaker Berri on the educational reality and ways to fortify and protect the public education sector in Lebanon, as well as legislative matters related to the education sector and the demands of teachers and contractuals.

The Speaker made the necessary contacts with the concerned authorities in this regard.
